Youth Development Programmes

Creating employment opportunities for the unemployed youth aged 18-35 is key to the ICT Skills Development Division at Gijima.

The company has funded these ICT skills developments, learnership, and internship programmes, while creating a platform for the unemployed graduates to upskill within the ICT environment. It has provided a workplace experience for the students in conjunction with the company’s OEM partners.

Over the years Gijima has contributed towards the achievement of the Skills Development objectives of the country by ensuring the empowerment of the youth in the ICT sector by funding ICT skills development, learnership and internship programmes. At the same time creating a platform for unemployed graduates in the ICT sector to be up-skilled in the ICT environment, and providing workplace experience opportunities. Which in turn creates the potential for them to earn a wage.
