As Banking is changing more rapidly than at any other time in its history, GijimaAST business mission is to provide and market solutions, systems and services for banking markets as well as for industries that use solutions involving monetary value transactions e.g. post offices, airlines etc.

The Wincor Nixdorf solution provides modular products and solutions offering for the self-service environment. Our software platforms are based on open systems architecture, providing clients with the freedom of choice on the selection of hardware. Biometric solutions

In line with the Financial Intelligence Centre Act 38 of 2001, GijimaAst has developed a biometrically driven Bank client identity verification system that provides financial institutions with the ability to verify client identity each time the client transacts with the institution. This is directly in line with the requirements of the act. This functionality is driven by biometrics with fingerprint identification being the only means of access to the system. This ensures maximum security, unlike systems that rely on tokens, passwords and PIN numbers. Biometric technologies are the only means currently available that can provide a high level of accuracy in verifying a person's identity.
